Ferrari F512 M Crashed to Save Hedgehog

Ferrari F512 M Crashed to Save Hedgehog

A remarkable incident occurred in a forest in Germany. Joerg Daecher, a 53-year-old businessman, was driving home from work in his Ferrari F512 M on the B64 near Eschershausen in Lower Saxony. Suddenly he spotted a hedgehog crossing the road.

But rather than hitting the small and spiny animal, Daecher didn’t hesitate and swerved to avoid running it over. The Ferrari slipped on wet leaves and smashed into a crash barrier. Both the man and hedgehog escaped without injuries. But the damage to the classic Ferrari is estimated at around € 36,500.
