Tushek is a new company founded by Aljosa Tušek, who dreamed of building a his own supercar. His dream turned into reality as he engineered the Tushek Renovatio T500, a car described by the new Slovenian car maker as “one of the best handling, lightest and fastest supercars on the circuit with uniquely good looks for the road.”
With its scissor doors and removable hardtop, the styling of the Tushek Renovatio T500 appears to be inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Performante, especially viewed from the side. The chassis is made from chrome-moly steel, the exterior is made from carbon fiber and carbon composites, which results in a curb weight of 1,133kg.
The Renovatio T500 is powered by a V8 derived from the Audi RS4 mated with a six-speed manual gearbox. This 4.2 liter FSI engine puts out 450 horsepower at 7,900rpm and 428Nm of torque at 3,200rpm. The Slovenian supercar has a claimed top speed in excess of 310km/h. The sprint from standstill to 100km/h is done in 3.7 seconds, while the 200km/h is hit in 11.5 seconds.
Quite impressive is the stopping power of the Renovatio T500. Thanks to its ventilated carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers up front and four-piston calipers at the rear, the whole braking process takes no more than 29 meters. By comparison, the Bugatti Veyron needs 31.4 meters.
The Renovatio is sitting on aluminium forged wheels with center locking measuring 8.5×19 inch at the front and 10×19 at the rear. These wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres. The interior features leather, alcantara and carbon, but could also be personalized if desired. A titanium exhaust system, rear view camera, heated seats and track day kit are optional as well.
