Rally de Paris 2012 by Alex Smolik

This is the first time GTspirit representative Alex Smolik follows Rally de Paris, the annual car event starting in Paris. The Rally de Paris is an event organized by RallyStory, lasts for a whole week-end, taking the participants to famous French race tracks.

This year’s plateau was quite impressive to say the least. The lineup of supercars included a Gumpert Apollo S, Ferrari F40, 599 GTO, 458 Spider, 458 Italia, 430, FF, 612 Scaglietti, Lamborghini Murcielago, LP570-4 Superleggera, Super Trofeo, LP560-4, Porsche Carrera GT, GT3RS, GT2RS, 911, 997, Lotus Exige, Elise, Maserati GranTurismo, GranCabrio, Nissan GTR, Ford GT, Ford GT Gulf Heritage, Corvette, Camaro SS, etc.

According to Alex, there were just too many incredible cars. They left Paris early to go to Magny-Cours track. There, the cars headed on the track in different groups. All the cars left during the afternoon to the next stop, where they would spend the night before heading to the Dijon-Prennois racetrack.
