Hamann Motorsport shows the Hamann memoR based on the McLaren MP4-12C on the 82nd Geneva Motor Show. The Hamann design team used the McLaren MP4-12C to shape an eye-catching super sports car. The goal from the Hamann team was to create a car from the same kaliber as the legendary McLaren F1.

Hamann took drastic measures to achieve their goal. The main changes include a complete remake of the McLaren MP4-12C in the line of the F1 and addition of functional and design aspects of the McLaren F1 and GT3. The Germans fitted a large front splitter, upper and side wheel arch-forced ventilation, new side skirts, a roof air duct as well as an extended rear diffuser and a larger rear wing.

The new rear fender now runs from the rear window to the wheel arch as a monster-wide component. The width of the tail increased and has been combined with a newly developed diffuser, side pods and a triple exhaust the rear end. The Germans fitted two different wheel sets to the memoR.
