Wrecked Porsche Panamera Turbo S Owned by Russian Politician

It appears that this past weekend, an accident occured involving Igor Lebedev, the chairman of the LDPR parliamentary group of the Russian State Duma. The car he was travelling in, a white Porsche Panamera Turbo S, was hit by a pensioner, 80-year-old Morschinsky Leonti who was travelling in a Lada 2111. CarLifeBlog.ru reports that there were no injuries and that the Lada driver admitted liability.

It appears that the accident happened in Moscow when Leonti turned out of a side road and failed to notice the Porsche Panamera. As a result of the accident, the Panamera Turbo S has damage to the front bumper, front headlights and the airbag has also been deployed on the passenger side. The Lada 2111 did not fair quite so well, it sustained enough injuries to the drivers side door to ensure that it was probably a write-off.

A preliminary damage assessment puts damage to the Porsche Panamera S at around 1 million rubles, around 25,548 euros. Lets hope that both parties were insured!
