Rolls-Royce Sells Out Phantom China Dragon Edition in Two Months

Rolls-Royce has sold all eight Phantom China Dragon special editions within two months after taking orders for the Dragon-year Phantom in August of 2011.

Singapore-based Rolls-Royce company spokesman, Hal Serudin, confirmed this in an interview with Bloomberg. Prices for the special model started at 7.4 million yuan ($ 1.2 million), he said.

The model made its debut at the Guangzhou car show and featured a handpainted dragon coachline on the side of the vehicle. The mythical creature was also embroidered on headrests, and hand-stitched cushions for rear passengers using a combination of four thread colours: Tan, Golden Sand, Black and White. The four door sills feature illuminated treadplates with ‘Year of the Dragon 2012′ highlighted in LED lighting.
