After a sunny day, it started to rain at the Zandvoort race track in the Netherlands. And not a little, but a lot of rain. The owner of a Lamborghini LP640 Roadster left his roof at home at the beginning of the day. In the end he had to go home, without a roof driving through heavy rain.
Just a small recap. Lamborghini announced the roadster version of the MurciĆ©lago LP640 at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 6.5 liter V12 engine provides 640hp at 8,000rpm. The MurciĆ©lago’s exterior received a minor facelift with respect to its predecessor. The interior seating was reshaped to provide greater headroom, something you not really need when it rains like this.
The interior is specially treated and designed to get wet. Once you’re moving the interior remains fairly dry. I know because I had one.
of corse TommyJames, I have one to
You call that heavy rain? You obviously haven’t been to tropical countries.
