With a bit over a year delay the Zagato designed South African supercar; Perana Z-One has been taken into production. The first worldwide deliveries are expected this summer after an initial debut of the Perana Z-One at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.

The Perana Z-One comes with a 442bhp 6.2 liter V8 from General Motors coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox and a ZF limited-slip differential. With a weight of only 1,195kg its enough to propel the Perana Z-One from standstill to 100km/h in under four seconds. The Perana Z-One costs around 80,000 Euro excluding taxes. We could see one in action on European soil at Goodwood Festival of Speed next month!
