2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

It didn’t take long for Mercedes-Benz to officially release the 2011 Mercedes C63 AMG Facelift after a series of pictures leaked last week. The new 2011 Mercedes C63 AMG will go on sale next July in Germany starting at € 71,340.

The facelifted Mercedes C63 AMG comes with an aggressive front fascia, an aluminum hood, a single-bar grille, and new headlights with LED indicators. Other highlights include a modified rear bumper with black diffuser insert, revised tail lights, and restyled 18 inch alloy wheels. At the interior you’ll find a new dashboard, an upgraded instrument cluster, dark aluminum trim and piano black accents. As a nice extra all Mercedes C63 AMGs are outfitted with an improved suspension that features an anti-roll bar and revised spring rates.

Most important of course is the power source which will stay the naturally-aspirated 6.3 liter V8 with 451hp togehter with 600Nm of torque. The power is derived to the streets via seven-speed SpeedShift MCT transmission which enables the sedan to sprint from standstill to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The top speed is limited to a standard 250km/h.

Furthermore there’s an optional AMG Performance Package that increases output to 480hp and 600Nm of torque. Strangely enough the sprint time will be just 4.4 seconds, only just 0.1 seconds faster that the standard C63 AMG. Expect an in depth view of the new Mercedes C63 AMG from the Geneva Motor Show next month.
