Video: 2012 Nissan GT-R Launch Control Runs

Video 2012 Nissan GT-R Launch Control Runs

The revised 2012 Nissan GT-R’s LC4 R-mode is one of the new upgrades on the latest version of the Japanese sports car. The start launches from 4,000rpm like the 2009 LC1 original, but with a smoother clutch engagement to minimize wheelspin.

The runs shown in the video made by Autmobile resulted in a 0-to-60 mph of 3.0 and 3.1 seconds, without rollout. That’s a significant improvement over all previous GT-Rs.

This wasn’t news to us all, because we showed you a video in November where a 2012 GT-R showed its abilities.
