Paris 2010 Lotus Elite Hybrid

The Lotus Elite is a new hybrid sports car concept that Lotus just revealed at the Paris Motor Show. A sports car that will redefine “modern classic”, according to the sports car manufacturer.

The Lotus Elite has a electric hard top and a 5.0 liter V8 that delivers 620hp. Paired with hybrid technology and the F1 inspired KERS system, that recovers energy lost when braking, the Elite is technically very advanced. The Lotus Elite weighs 1.650kg and accelerates from 0-100km/h (62mph) in 3.6 seconds. The Elite is expect to hit the market in 2014 with a price of around 115.000 GBP.
