To celebrate The Centurion’s 10th anniversary American Express announced a special Porsche 911 Carrera S Centurion Edition in Hong Kong on Monday. The sports car is exclusive to American Express Centurion members and card holders.
From now until July 31, 2010, Centurion members in Hong Kong can place their order for the Porsche 911 Carrera S Centurion Edition. Only three of its kind will be available. Each Porsche 997 Carrera S is priced at around HK $ 2 million ($ 256,000 or € 210,000). American Express will make a donation to UNICEF for each car sold to support its vital work on children around the world.
The interior of the limited edition includes black leather, Alcantara and genuine carbon fiber, as well as the “Carrera S Centurion Edition No.1 of 3” badges on both front door panels and outer door-sill guards in stainless steel “Centurion From American Express” logo. The exterior trim got special edition 19 inch wheels.
All three feature Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) and VarioCam Plus in a 3.8 liter boxer engine delivering 385hp at 6,500rpm through a seven-speed, paddle-operated automatic double-clutch gearbox, the Porsche-Doppelkupplung (PDK). Equipped with Sport Chromo, the sprint to 100km/h (62mph) is done in just 4.3 seconds, with a maximum top speed of 300km/h (186mph).
Lol, almost everyone can get a Cent these days.
Get a Titanium and you’re da man ;-)
wow that is a beautiful Porsche!
Swank, the Centurion card IS the Titanium card. This car is being sold in Hong Kong which have 100% sales tax on cars. This explains the price. I understand that this 911 is being made by Porsche Exclusive and will feature an amazing interior.
movie star good looks. thanks for sharing the tax issue in hong kong. can we get it cheaper stateside?
I want one bad! Black CAR—D looks Bad ass!
The guy on the right is Kevin Yeung a Hong Kong car enthusiast and an super nice guy. He is a real pioneer on the HK charity scene and does a lot of good work. Great to see this Porsche help UNICEF.
David – I am fortunate to know Kevin Yeung, Top Guy! Anyone who can get Porsche to help charity gets my full respect. Last year, he got Porsche to donate 4 Cayennes AND USD1.5mm to help UNICEF in China. The guy is rich but down to earth. Seriously has his values right.
Lol Theodor, your comment proves again you got no clue.
You can get a Cent if you got a Titanium, but not the other way round.
the centurion card IS a titanium card- literally. it’s made of titanium, not plastic. and yes, in most cases you need to be a platinum cardmember to qualify.
that said, this is such a sweet, sweet ride!
