Devon Motorworks GTX

A little more than a month ago we showed you very promissing spy shots of the Devon Motorworks GTX. Last weekend the GTX was presented on the Pebble Beach Concours in California. Devon Motorworks then unveiled that the GTX has a 8.4 liter V10 producing 650bhp in it’s nose and that power prooved itself yet by setting a lap record, 1:35.075, at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California.

Devon Motorworks will produce 36 cars per year at its manufacturing facility in southern California, with prices starting at $500,000. An optional Racing Package will be available for $25,000. We can’t wait to see this car lapping the Nürburgring and setting an all new record lap time there as well!

  1. I dont get these kind of cars… they’re just kit cars built on a Viper(like this one) or Vette or other stuff.. and then its labeled a different name… to me thats never gonna amount to any real engineering besides bodywork and track time for tuning… I’m sure a modified viper in terms of power and suspension to the level this is can give you the same timeslip.
At least if it was good looking, but looks are iffy at best
