The Corvette ZR1-based sportscar with its controversial design was unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show and showcased at Grand Hotel Villa d’Este last week. Bertone’s chief designer has indicated in an email to the NY times they will produce as many as ten units. Jason Castriota told the reporter they have been contacted by a number of potential clients in Asia, Europe and America.

These clients will have to pay a price close to a staggering $2,000,000 or €1,500,000. Quite a high price for a supercar based on “just” a Corvette ZR1 which will normally put you back $104,920 or €79,000.
