The Nissan GT-R must be the most popular car all over the world now, at least that’s the fact in it’s home country, Japan. Maybe that’s the reason why it only made it to the 4th place in our supercar of the year 2008 poll. Anyway, if you are out there, you better bring a visit to the Tokyo Motor Show, because there are at least 10 and probably more tuned versions of the King of the Nrburgring shown there. We all listed them here, so scroll down and make your choice!
1) Fujitsubo R35 GT-R
Most of us probably never heard of Fujitsubo and that’s not strange at all. They are very well known in Japan and specialize them selves in personalized exhaust systems for every car. This time they took in the Nissan GT-R, with this result. Not bad!
2) Shadow Sports Design GT-R
Japanese tuning house Shadow Sports Design has made a package the GT-R market with their new aero kit, wheels and exhaust parts. The kit includes a carbon fibre front lip, a rear spoiler and diffuser. Despite the size the downforce creating rear wing is superlight. Next those eye-catching details you get exclusive forged magnesium 20? wheels, available in two colours: black and gun metal. Last but not least the exhaust has got a full titanium pack. All light weight stuff, so this GT-R will probably one of the fastest out there!
3) Power Enterprise GT-R
The Power Enterprise R35 GT-R Four Charger is a twin charged Nissan with nothing less than 700 bhp. A nice ouput! Even better is that the full power is yet available at 4,000 rpm. At the moment the kit is still in testing fase, so no final figures are known yet. They will however have these available when the kit is completed to their high standards and proven reliable. We can’t wait!
4) Mine’s GT-R
Here aswell we carbon fibre to be main partner for the tuning. First up you can see a carbon front lip spoiler which integrates brake ducting and a slightly more aggressive look. Next you get a brand new carbon hood which saves weight over the front end of the car, combine with the Mines anti-sway bars to help eliminate understeer and last nice detail are tge Type-II aero mirror covers.
5) Abflug GT-R
The Abflug kit consists of a aero front bumper, side skirts, rear underspoiler, rear diffuser and carbon fibre rear wing element. You also see 20? Neez EI8HT wheels with GT-R center caps. Important to know is that the kit isn’t finished yet and looks have more of a mock up than a prototype, so we’ll have to wait for more and official news.
From the other tuned GT-R versions isn’t known much. Neither visual nor engine detailsare but that doesn’t mean we won’t show them to you, first is the Kansai R35 GT-R…
…followed by the MCR GT-R…
…the Esprit GT-R…
…to finish with a real track monster, the R35 GT-R GT500!!!
