After a thousend spyshots, a million rumours on the specs of the Challenger SRT8… it’s now official. For the Chicago Car Show the guys behind Dogde spread official details, stunning details togehter with very nice images.
The SRT-8 will be available a limited edition version powered by Chrysler 6.1-liter V8 Hemi producing 425 bhp together with 420 Nm of Torque. All that’s is brought to the road via a mated 5-speed automatic transmission. According to Dodge, performance targets include a 0-62 mph (100 kmh) time in less than5 seconds.
The sprint from 0-100-0 mph in less than 17 seconds, the quarter-mile in less than 14 seconds. The more than amazing Challenger SRT8 will be priced about $37 995 (€ 26 230 – £ 19 560). The images in high-res can be found in our forum.
