Wiesemann GT

Wiesmann has confirmed to present an even better GT, now called the GT MF 5 Coupé and will be shown at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the first major update for the model since its introduction almost two years ago. Under the long and impressive hood will breath the same 507 bhp V10 found in the potent BMW’s M5 and M6.

With a weight of just 1,250kg, a Wiesmann GT packing the 5.0L V10 engine would offer a significant leap in performance compared with the 362 bhp currently available. Expect performance to better the current car’s 0 – 62 mph (0-100kmh) sprint in only 4.6 seconds and top speed of 175 mph (280km/h).

Production of the car hasn’t started yet because not all testing is finished. Some sources say that the new Wiesemann will arrive in dealerships by the middle of next year. The new model will also be differentiated from the standard models with several subtle stylistic changes.
