Render artist EMilano has hit us with another rendering, this time of a car that we could possibly see in the next few years – the Ferrari 812 Superfast Barchetta. Although details are unknown, Ferrari traditionally have always taken the top off their V12 GT cars. There was the F12 F60 that was exclusive to the USA, 599 GTO Aperta, 575 Superamerica and the 550 Barchetta where the name for this 812 Superfast was taken.

Whatever form the 812 Superfast convertible variants is presented in, one thing is certain – it will be fast! The 812 Superfast gets a new 6.5-litre V12 engine with a huge 789 hp at 8,500 rpm (800 cv in Ferrari terms). Maximum torque is quoted at 718 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Performance includes a maximum speed in excess of 340 Km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of just 2.9 sec. Imagine all that performance with the added excitement of the wind rushing over the top of the car and the V12 howls in your ears.
