A year on from the original Mansory 4XX Siracusa release, Mansory are back the the convertible version at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. The Mansory 4XX Siracusa Spider is another insane Mansory project, taking the Ferrari 488 Spider to levels many would never have expected. You either love it or you hate it!
As well as the obvious extreme makeover, Mansory have packed the 4XX Siracusa Spider with additional power. The 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 now produces 790 hp from 8,000 rpm with torque of 870 Nm at 3,000 rpm. 0 to 100 km/h takes place in just 2.9 seconds with a 330 km/h top speed. A new engine management system and custom exhaust apparently takes car of this.
The bodywork emulates the design of the Ferrari FXXK. The modifications start at the front with a set of air inlets fitted to a new front apron, the new front lip and daytime running lights add character. The side skirts and mirror housing complete the side view while the rear gets a new apron with integrated rear apron and double rear spoiler.
Small details such as the outlet ducts above the front wheels, the intake ducts behind the doors and the Collage Edition carbon fibre in Liquid Black make this particular car very distinctive. New forged lightweight metal rims reduce unsprung weight. They measure 9×20 inches at the front with 255/30 high-performance tyres and 325/25 tyres at the rear.
Improvements have also been made to the chassis with four progressively wound lowering springs. They bring the 4XX Siracusa Spider 20 millimetres lower to the ground. Inside, Mansory fit a sports steering wheel with a mix of leather and carbon fibre, a redesigned centre console control unit and re-clad leather surfaces with accented using coloured stitching and 4XX logos on the seats, foot mats and door sill trims.
