Lamborghini Aventador SV Torn Apart in High Speed Crash in Italy

Photos are just emerging of a Lamborghini Aventador SV crash that took place on a highway near Parma, Italy last week. While details of the crash remain scarce, the photos reveal an intact passenger cell of the $500K Lamborghini that was left torn in pieces. Reports suggest that the Italian supercar hit a guardrail at high speed before spinning out of control during the midday incident.

This is not the first time we have seen an Aventador crash in this manner, back in 2013 a white Aventador was split into two after crashing heavily in Brooklyn, New York. In LP700 form, the Aventador is already a quick car with it’s 690bhp V12 engine capable of reaching speeds of up to 354 km/h. The SV get’s 50bhp more while the speed remains more or less the same.

Seeing that the passenger cell was left intact, the occupants might have survived just fine. We will update you with more information soon as we get it.
