ABT are in the midst of a very special year; the ABT RS6 “1 of 12” which is on display at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 is a part of that celebration! The unique RS6 has been build to commemorate the company’s 120th anniversary. Just 12 will be built. We took a closer look at the 1of 12!
The Audi RS6 comes with a 4.0 twin-turbo TFSI V8 and 560 hp in its serial form. The ABT RS6 “1 of 12” improves upon that with an ABT Power S engine control unit, boosting power by 175 hp to a total figure of 735 hp. Torque is now 920 Nm which helps the Avant up to a top speed of 320 km/h.
ABT have also fitted a remarkably unobtrusive bodykit with air inlet panels, front flics, mirror caps, a rear skirt set, all made of exposed carbon. The ABT RS6 “1 of 12“ gets a unique carbon rear spoiler with a “1/12“ logo and four tailpipes painted in a matching body colour. The rest includes fender inserts and a set of carbon side skirts.
The wheels are ABT FR units with five double spokes. They measure 10×22 inches and come fitted with Dunlop high-performance tyres in 295/25 R22. An ABT spacer set has been used to give the car additional width,
Inside, the glove compartment features the “1/12“ badging. The floor mats get “120 years” lettering. The sport-type seats feature a bi-colour leather to match the exterior and the headliner, pillars and the tailgate are Alcantara-clad. Alcantara and leather cover the dashboard and body coloured stitching with carbon fibre accents cover the rest.
