Official: 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 by Hennessey

Texas-based tuning company Hennessey Performance has launched its performance package for the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. The package will be limited to 100 units, each getting a unique serial number.

Hennessey promises to increase the power and torque of the Shelby GT350’s 5.2-liter “Voodoo” V8 engine from 526 hp to 575 hp and torque from 582 Nm to 693 Nm. This has been made possible by using 1.75-inch stainless steel long-tube headers, stainless steel mid-pipe exhaust with high-flow catalytic converters and HPE engine management upgrade along with chassis dyno calibration.

Hennessey will also change the oil and filter, procuring the two from Pennzoil and will fill the car with Shell V-Power Nitro+ 93-octane petrol.

Apart from that, customers will get Hennessey exterior badge at the rear, ‘Powered by Hennessey’ floor mats, Hennessey HPE575 serial numbered plaque signed by John Hennessey (who will also sign a Certificate of Authenticity) on the inside and another plaque signed by the technician that builds your car on the engine bay.

A three-year/36,000 miles warranty will give the owners a peace of mind, who will also get Hennessey’s before and after dyno graph, showing the power and torque changes at the rear wheels. Regarding the cost, if you want to simply acquire the kit, it will cost $4,995 (including shipping), but with installation, the price shoots up to $6,950 (including shipping).
