Luxury and sports car tuner Revozport just released a preview of their bodykit and customization options for the Honda Civic Type-R. The Japanese hot-hatch features an i-VTEC TURBO engine, outputs 300hp and has a maximum 400 N.m. of torque as standard. The Type-R’s performance on the road is impressive with a top speed of 270 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.7 seconds.
Revozport will be offering two customization kits for the Civic Type-R, which can be distinguished by the spoiler-size. The more tame version will feature a small ‘ducktail’ spoiler, while the more aggressively specced Revozport Type-R impresses with a larger spoiler. Additionally the Honda Civic Type-R will be fitted with Revozport’s latest active aero diffuser, which is similar to the one featured on the Revozport Ferrari 458 Speciale kit.

Eigentlich eine gute Idee den extrem hässlichen Civic einigermaßen ansehnlich zu designen. Es ist so gesehen auch gelungen jedenfalls mit Abstand besser als das was Honda serienmäßig anbietet. Man muss sich aber ernsthaft die Frage stellen warum das Auto nicht schon schön aus der Produktion kommt und warum man dafür nochmal extra Geld ausgeben soll. Bis jetzt sind bei einem Neuwagen gute Technik tolle Fahrwerte Top Lackierung (korrosionsfest) und natürlich ein attraktives Design standardmäßig im Neupreis enthalten gewesen.
