Unfortunately, crashes are a part of motorsport and always will be. While some crashes can be particularly severe, most are relatively minor but very few are funny. The following crash which occurred at the Carrera Cup France race however, is simply hilarious.
The crash involved Porsche drivers Jules Gounon and Joffrey De Nardo who came into contact with each other at a tight right hand bend. One of the cars spun around 180 degrees and the second drove straight up onto its roof with very little damage. Amazingly, the number 169 Porsche 911 GT3 came to a rest right on the roof of the number 9.
As the crash occurred at relatively low speed, neither of the drivers were injured and it certainly made for a fantastic photo opportunity!
