The insane Mansory Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe Black Edition has just been unveiled at this week’s IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. The car takes the already impressive S63 AMG Coupe and takes it up a notch with a healthy dose of extra power as well as a multitude of visual and aerodynamic changes. We headed over to Mansory to see it in person.

Beneath the skin, the twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine of the S63 AMG Coupe has been comprehensively modified to the point where it pumps out 985 hp and an electronically limited peak torque of 1400 Nm between 1500 and 3500 rpm. The additional power and torque has been achieved thanks to new connecting rods, crankshaft, big end bearings, modified turbochargers, new suction and compressor system and more including a sports exhaust. All told, the Mansory Black Edition will reach 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and an electronically restricted 300 km/h top speed.

At the front, the fascia has been completely overhauled and includes a new bumper and grille as well as custom mesh air intakes. A lower splitter and quad canards have also been fitted as well as a bespoke bonnet with two NACA ducts. Other visual changes include flared wheel arches, custom side skirts, a bold new bumper and diffuser as well as a massive rear wing.
