Prior to the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, Mansory has revealed the most insane Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe it has ever created dubbed the Black Edition. Featuring bodywork even more menacing than other S63 AMG offerings from Mansory as well as a healthy dose of extra power, the Mansory Black Edition is insanity personified.

Beneath the skin, the twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine of the S63 AMG Coupe has been comprehensively modified to the point where it pumps out 985 hp and an electronically limited peak torque of 1400 Nm between 1500 and 3500 rpm. The additional power and torque has been achieved thanks to new connecting rods, crankshaft, big end bearings, modified turbochargers, new suction and compressor system and more including a sports exhaust. All told, the Mansory Black Edition will reach 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and an electronically restricted 300 km/h top speed.

Visually, the car has been fitted with a set of one-piece 22-inch wheels wrapped in 255/30 and 295/25 tyres at the front and rear respectively. Those wheels are then complemented by a number of bespoke body panels to really make the car stand out from a regular S63 AMG Coupe.

At the front, the fascia has been completely overhauled and includes a new bumper and grille as well as custom mesh air intakes. A lower splitter and quad canards have also been fitted as well as a bespoke bonnet with two NACA ducts. Other visual changes include flared wheel arches, custom side skirts, a bold new bumper and diffuser as well as a massive rear wing.
