Lamborghini Gallardo Crashes into a Tree in Leicester UK

A rare Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore has suffered extensive damage after crashing in Beaumont Leys in the United Kingdom.

It remains to be seen what triggered the crash, but one eye-witness did describe what the crash involved while speaking with the Liecester Mercury.

Sasha Beaumont says that after the driver lost control of the mid-engined Italian supercar when it then went up onto the footpath “hit a tree and span around about three times, crashing over a bollard on the central reservation and ended up facing the way it came.”

Behind the wheel of the Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore was a young Asian man and despite the severity of the crash and the various impacts, he managed to escape uninjured. The same cannot be said about the Gallardo however.

As the images show, the left rear wheel and hub assembly has been completely torn from the car resulting in extensive mechanical damage at the rear-end. Significant damage has also been sustained to the rear bumper as well as the passenger side door and rear quarter panel. The passenger wing mirror has also been destroyed.
