18-Year-Old Crashes Ferrari 458 Italia Into a Tree, Wreckage Lands in a School Yard

18-Year Old Crashes Ferrari 458 Italia

We often report on some rather bizarre and obscure supercar crashes and this story involving the beautiful Ferrari 458 Italia certainly is no different. The car was being piloted in by an 18-year-old with a passenger of the same age riding along side.

On the sunny morning in Norway the young man and his friend decided to take the V8 supercar for a spin (pardon the pun) which ended in a huge crash involving a tree and a high-speed impact.

Ironically the driver, passenger and the mangled remains of the Ferrari landed in the yard of a local elementary school, perhaps where the 18-year-old driver that ran out of talent should have spent a little more time before getting behind the wheel without a driving license. Joking aside, it was a relief to hear that both passenger and driver escaped unscathed, testament to the cars safety.

The Ferrari’s lightweight design and 4.5-liter V8 produce 562 bhp and an engine tone that will melt your ears and get your heart racing. The 458 will smash past 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds onto a top speed of 325 km/h.
