ABT Previews Its 365hp VW Golf R

With 296 hp being produced by its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the latest 2015 Volkswagen Golf R is certainly no slouch. However, the team at ABT Sportsline have started work on their upgraded performance package for the latest Volkswagen Golf R and have previewed it with the following two images and a selection of promising details.

ABT claims that through a software update significantly increasing boost, it can make the Volkswagen Golf R now deliver 365 hp and 460 Nm of torque. In addition to the lift of 69 horsepower, the ABT Golf R will deliver 80 Nm more than the standard car. As a result of this, it is claimed that the 2015 Golf R by ABT will rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 265 km/h. By comparison, the standard 2015 Golf R hits 100 km/h in just over 5 seconds.
