Mercedes-Benz USA have just officially announced the prices for their range topping Mercedes-AMG GT R at the 2017 Masters Golf Tournament in Atlanta. The motorsport inspired AMG GT R is priced from $157,000 and will arrive in US dealerships this summer.
The desirable ‘Beast of the Green Hell’, a suitable nickname it has certainly lived up to by setting the fastest rear-wheel drive lap time at the world famous Nürburgring Nordschleife (Green Hell), is in many ways the most extreme car that the German premium brand currently has to offer.
It features the great sounding 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine good for 585 hp (577 hp US) and packs an array of motorsport inspired technologies that are rooted in the GT R’s suspension, aerodynamics, nine-way adjustable traction control and the lightweight construction throughout.
