Geneva 2017: Jaguar I-Pace Concept

The Jaguar I-Pace Concept on display at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 is a European debut. The I-Pace previews an-all electric concept which Jaguar plans to produce next year. It gets a Photon Red paint scheme this time around, we took a closer look!

The I-PACE, an all electric sporty SUV, will hum its way to 100km/h in just over 4 seconds and features rapid charging technology for the 90 kWh battery that produces 395 horsepower. The lithium ion battery was designed and engineered in house at Jaguar Land Rover and promises to take electric car performance to a new level.

Such performance is capable given the I-PACE is all-wheel-drive and generates a massive 700Nm of torque. The I-Pace sits on the F-Pace’s architecture with a double-wishbone front axle and multilink rear suspension.

Although the car we see here is a concept, Jaguar confirmed that the production I-PACE will hit the road in 2018. We hope the looks of both the exterior and interior are not altered much in the final production car as the I-PACE certainly looks like the car from the future!
