The Ford GT 66 Heritage Edition is almost a year old now. However, we needed an excuse to share photos of the Ford GT at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. The Ford GT 66 Heritage Edition was conceived to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s iconic 1-2-3 victory at Le Mans. The car pays tribute to drivers Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon.

Exterior styling tweaks include 20-inch forged aluminum wheels finished in a beautiful shade of gold satin with contrasting black lugnuts. Interior changes include carbon fiber seats with Ebony leather upholstery and pillowed inserts.

Additional interior tweaks include matte carbon fiber trim and an individually-numbered plaque. Special seat belts with blue webbing are also featured as a throwback to those used in the 1966 race winning car.

The Ford GT gets a 3.5 liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine making 647 hp and 550 lb/ft of torque. Top speed is an impressive 216 mph. The transmission is a seven-speed paddle-shift dual-clutch with automatic and manual modes.
