Geneva 2017: FAB Design Model X Virium

This year for the first time FAB Design presents us with a fully electric vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. It is based on the Tesla Model X electric SUV and is officially called the FAB Design Model X Virium.

As we have come to expect from the designers at FAB Design, no stone was left unturned in an attempt to make their interpretation of the Model X stand out as much as possible. The extravagant exterior options are complemented by massive 23-inch forged EVOTREK wheels shod with Michelin tires.

The Tesla Model X arguably forms the base of one of the easiest conversions FAB Design have ever undertaken. The sophisticated and powerful electric powertrain leaves little to tinker with, and features such as the funky falcon doors fit right in FAB Design’s portfolio, with falcon doors having been a hallmark feature of the tuner’s portfolio for years.

In terms of performance, the Tesla Model X boasts a maximum output equivalent of 773 horsepower and takes care of a 0-100 km/h sprint in just about 3 seconds. Given its almost 2.5 tonne curb weight, those numbers are impressive to say the least. In order to improve the car’s handling, FAB Design’s customization package including the larger rims and and tires may be a very viable option.
