Pictures have been circulating today of a crash which took place on Park Lane in central London yesterday evening. The crash appears to have involved a matte black Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster and two other vehicles travelling along the Mayfair road.

Eyewitness reports suggest that the Lamborghini was driven by a young asian man and was racing another similar Lamborghini. The Aventador SV Roaster appears to have rear-ended a Mercedes-Benz S-Class and a Vauxhall Astra, causing considerable damage to all three cars.

Fortunately, the police are reporting that there were not injuries. The accident was violent enough to activate the built in roll-over bars on the Lamborghini. The bars have pushed through the roof, although they weren’t necessary judging by the photos.

Two out of three lanes were out of action for some time while authorities carried out a cleanup.

The Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster features an upgraded 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine with 750 hp. With a 349 km/h top speed and a 2.9 second zero to 100 km/h time, it is a weapon which, evidently, must be treated with the utmost respect!
