Bugatti opened a brand new showroom in Zurich, Switzerland this week. The wealthy alpine country in the heart of Europe is traditionally a strong market for the hypercar brand, explaining the award-winning redesign of one of Europe’s largest Bugatti dealerships.

The new showroom measures up to 120 square meters and celebrated the new Chiron’s first appearance in Switzerland. The new showroom, which replaces the old one, is owned by long-time Bugatti partner Schmohl AG. The Zurich location is the eighth out of 34 Bugatti dealerships worldwide that gets the new design style.

Sales of the Bugatti Veyron emphasize the importance of the Swiss market, accounting for up to 10% of global Veyron sales. The Chiron too, is off to a good start in the country, with currently 10 orders having been placed for the brand new hypercar.

Christoph Haas, General Manager Schmohl AG / Bugatti Zurich, said: “The inauguration of the new Bugatti showroom in Zurich is a milestone in the history of Schmohl AG and represents our confidence in and loyalty to the Bugatti brand. We are very pleased to present the Bugatti Chiron to our customers and guests in Zurich for the first time on this special occasion. This is the perfect start to the next stage in our joint future with Bugatti.”

Bugatti’s ‘brand identity in its latest showroom design’ recently won a design award from the German Design Council in the Automotive Brand Contest. Zurich’s Bugatti dealership is located in ‘Glattpark’ near the city’s airport.
