That the 2016 Acura NSX is a very capable sports car shouldn’t come as a surprise. In many driving and track-oriented tests the car has proven to be razor quick tapping more than enough power from its hybrid 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 powertrain.

On the straight however, we expected things to look quite a bit different. Especially when it’s a world renowned Italian supercar with double the amount of cylinders standing next to you at the starting line. The 700 hp V12-powered Lamborghini Aventador is by all means no lightweight and will see the meters hit 100 km/h in under four seconds time.

So how does the 573 hp Acura NSX with all-wheel drive compare? Well, the title of this article already gave away the result, but the question remains: did it surprise you?
