More power for Porsche’s SUV’s, that is what kept tuner Techart busy the last couple of weeks. They recently introduced new power kits for both the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and the Porsche Macan Turbo.
To start off with the smaller SUV, the Macan Turbo, which has already plenty of power coming from its powerful V6 engine. All-wheel drive, 400 hp and 550 Nm of torque catapult the Macan to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Techart can make the Macan Turbo even faster for you, with EC type approval and a warranty certificate of course.
The newly developed TA B95/T1 powerkit for the Macan Turbo adds 80 hp and 100 Nm of torque to the SUV’s power plant. Push the distinctive ‘sport’ button and the 480 hp Macan Turbo accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Price tag of this power impulse? €3,900, and you’ll have to save up a bit more for the aesthetic upgrades if you fancy those.
And then there is the Macan’s bigger brother, the range topping Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Techart developed the TA 058/T2.1 powerkit for Porsche’s largest and most powerful SUV which includes in-house developed turbochargers, exhaust manifolds, sport air filters and more. Power of the Cayenne Turbo S is raised from 570 hp and 800 Nm of torque to a massive 720 hp and 920 Nm of torque.
The sizable power increase is good for a 0-100 in under 4 seconds, where the conventional Cayenne Turbo S is already capable of doing the same stretch in an impressive 4.1 seconds. The top speed of the Cayenne Turbo S is also raised, from 284 km/h to an insane 311 km/h. Yes, that is fast enough to see many sports cars disappear in your rear view mirror, including the world’s ‘fastest’ SUV: the Bentley Bentayga.
