The Monaco Yacht Show 2016 came to an end yesterday, and as one would expect, there was a plethora of new yachts and yacht designs from various shipyards. Italian masters Mondomarine were among those showcasing new products at the show by launching their new M70 yacht design.
For Mondomarine, the M70 is one of the largest superyacht concepts from the Savona-based yard. A 70-meter vessel dubbed “Arte” which means “art” in Italian, it has been designed by Stefano Inglese Vafiadis from Giorgio Vafiadis & Associates.
The new M70 superyacht concept will offer freedom to her owners, foremost by giving them autonomy over the interior layout. The yacht will have seven, eight or nine cabins, depending on the needs of the owner. For a yacht this size, leisure activities are prime to the design too. That said, the M70 offers a large beach club that opens on each side of the stern as shown below.
Mondomarine has a long history of working with naval warships, their repair and maintenance services shaped them to being what they are today. The 35,000 square meters shipyard in Savona hosts a 820-ton travel lift that is also one of the largest in the Mediterranean. Their history and experience has led to the global achievement of what is now Mondomarine Repair & Refit division.
