The all new car show starring Jeremy Clarkson and co-stars James May and Richard Hammond will premiere on Amazon Prime on November 18th this year. Named the Grand Tour, expectations among petrolheads are relatively high considering the somewhat disappointing run of Top Gear’s most recent season.

The first season of Top Gear without Clarkson, Hammond and May saw a serious decline in viewership and suffered some severe reputation damage after the hostile break up between the successful previous cast and British TV show.
After having been off-air for a while it will certainly be interesting what the trio will come up with. We’ve had several insights into the production of the new show over the course of the past few months hinting at a similar concept to BBC’s Top Gear. The Grand Tour however seems to be more flexible, with recent news indicating the show travels around the world using ‘studio tents’ instead of being glued to a fixed studio back in the U.K.
