Jaguar has revealed their Formula E challenger today ahead of the third Formula E season which kicks off on October 9, 2016 in Hong Kong. This marks the return of Jaguar to global motorsport, Panasonic was named the official title partner as the two parties strive to achieve new milestones in the field of technology and racing.

The newly formed Panasonic Jaguar Racing will field an all-electric Jaguar I-Type 1 in the forthcoming Formula E season. Jaguar is positioning itself within the inevitably changing future of motorsport, and being the leading R&D company in the UK, Formula E provides proper proving grounds for their innovations.

While Panasonic will serve as the title sponsor, Lear Corporation has been named as the official Team Partner. Meanwhile, Adam Carroll and Mitch Evans will form the driver lineup with Ho-Pin Tung acting as the reserve driver.
