Now the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016 is over it is time to reflect on some of the highlights of this year’s edition. One of the highlights was definitely the breathtaking McLaren duo brought to the festival by a British collector.

The ‘LARK’ livered hypercars, the McLaren F1 GTR and McLaren P1 GTR, stole the show with their eye-drawing ‘Fluro Orange’ color. The livery on both cars is a clear tribute to the Japanese GT Championship, in which the older F1 GTR once competed. Back in the day the Japanese Cigarette brand Lark was one of the main sponsors of several racing events held in the region.

What makes this British hypercar duo even more special is the fact that they are road-legal. Both original track tools were converted in order to be allowed on open roads.
