Gallery: Supercars at the XXX Concurso Internacional de Elegancia in México

For its 30th year celebration, the Concurso Internacional de Elegancia in México had some supercars and exotics on display. As every time, an off-roading course presented us with the latest in Land Rover technology, while on the main stage some live artistic performances and a swimwear runway took place; an all-weekend event that portrays the very best of the classic automotive world.

Privately owned exotic vehicles had a reserved spot on one of the concours lawns, where anything from McLaren to a rare BMW Z8 could be seen. Many automakers were present with branded stands and amazing exhibition spaces, but when it comes to supercars, it was a tough decision between the ultra minimalist Lotus/ McLaren stand and the more luxurious Aston Martin/ Lamborghini/ Morgan one.

For some cases as with the Alfa Romeo owners club, their classics were accompanied by a modern iteration of the brand’s efforts; In this case, the 4C. There were some other interesting vehicles on the lawns and stands, but an all aluminium replica of a Shelby Cobra caught our eye: a pristine, polished example. Within the dozens of classics in every category, it was nice to have a look at some of the most representative supercars of our time.
