2019 Mercedes-Benz GLB Test Mule Spy Shots

Spy shots of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLB test mule have been released online.

The GLB has not yet been confirmed by Mercedes, however German media is speculating that the modified G-Class in these spy shots in the test mule for the eventual GLB model. According to reports, the GLB will receive four-wheel drive as an optional extra. However, this four-wheel drive system will be basic unlike the three-differential options available on the G-Class.

It is likely that this new model will have more headroom than the GLA and will feature rear seats that slide forwards and backwards. It has been suggested that the GLB is a cousin of the B-Class.

The chassis of the new GLB will likely be the MFA2 platform. This a second generation front-wheel drive platform that will see its first application in 2018 on another model, a year earlier than the release of the GLB.

Take a look at the spy shots in the gallery above! We will keep you updated as hear more information.
