As stated by a press release, VUHL Automotive used the London Motor Show as a platform to announce the vehicle to be officialy on sale in the UK. As we’ve reported before, the car was announced to be launched right under the £60,000 mark, but despite the extensive media tests and the existence of a registered vehicle in the UK, it was until now that the brand attacked the market through their Official dealer: Bespoke Performance.

“After thrilling UK crowds for the first time with our 05 prototype at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, we are proud to announce that our full production specification car for the UK is now on sale. This is a momentous occasion for the company as the UK represents a key market for us from both a sales and engineering perspective, with almost half of the components sourced here. We hope many visitors will come to our stand and get a close-up look at our first UK car.” – Iker Echeverría, Technical Director.

A super lightweight vehicle with a power-to-weight ratio of 410bhp/tonne means the 05 accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds to a top speed of 150mph. To know more, read our in-depth test drive and review, where every detail of the car is thoroughly described.
