The first 500 Ford GTs have been allocated to their future owners and future orders have been closed (for now).

According to Ford, the first 500 orders of their new GT supercar have been allocated. This allocation will last for the next two years at a total of 250 cars per year. Successful buyers will be notified by Ford within the next 90 days.

The first deliveries of the GT are expected to begin at the end of this year, with the majority of those deliveries going to the United States and Europe.

The Ford GT is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-litre Ecoboost V6 that produces in excess of 600 hp. Pricing is said to start at $400,000 +, although no specific pricing information has been revealed.
