The 2016 DTM season kicks off this weekend at the iconic Hockenheimring in Germany. To prepare you for the forthcoming season, we have decided to highlight the best moments from the previous seasons focusing on each of the three manufacturers, BMW, Audi and Mercedes-AMG.

The 2015 DTM season was won by Pascal Wehrlein with Mercedes-AMG, becoming the youngest DTM champion in history at the age of 21. Wehrlein is currently competing in Formula 1 with Manor Racing. Elsewhere, BMW claimed the manufacturer’s championship after nine rounds while Mercedes-Benz’s HWA AG scooped the Team’s championship.

For 2016, the season with go through nine rounds starting at Hockenheimring and ending at the same location in October. Mercedes-AMG will be fielding their new C63 DTM car, which uses the same powertrain as the previous entry. A total of 12 teams will take part in the 2016 season.
