Spy shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Maybach E-Class have been released for the first time online.
While there has been speculation for some time regarding the existence of a Maybach version of the E-Class, these new spy shots all but confirm the existence of a super luxury version of the new E-Class. Back in January of last year Mercedes USA CEO Steve Cannon strongly suggested that the E-Class would be receiving the Maybach treatment but little was discussed of the program up until this most recent batch of spy photographs.
Not much information is known regarding the specifics of the new Maybach E-Class. However, what we can discern by looking at the changes to the Maybach S-Class is that the new E-Class will feature a slightly longer wheelbase as well as a plethora of luxury-themed interior upgrades. We assume the E-Class will receive similar interior accouterments to the S-Class. This means a super luxury treatment for the backseat area that will likely feature lounge-like seating.
Additional details regarding pricing, availability or trim options have not yet been released for the new Maybach E-Class. Rest assured, however, we will bring you those details as soon as they become available.
