Honda has officially released UK pricing details for the 2017 Honda NSX.
The starting price for the 2017 Honda NSX will be £130,000 in the UK with the car being made available through a limited network of authorized dealers. Honda also confirmed that the first deliveries of their flagship sports car will begin in Autumn of this year.
According to Honda, Europe will be the leading export region for the NSX. Each car will be manufacturered at Honda’s Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio in the United States. The plant is home to approximately 100 low-volume production specialists who will conduct full body construction, paint, and final assembly on all new NSX models sold worldwide.
The 2016 Acura NSX features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that is mated to three electric motors to produce 550 hp. The gearbox features a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that will transfer the power to all the wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h time reportedly stands at 2.9 seconds. By using a hybrid powertrain, Honda is able to offer a new system called Sport Hybrid Super-Handling All Wheel Drive, which includes four different driving modes — Quiet, Sport, Sport+ and Track.
