A photo of the Aston Martin DB11 has leaked over the internet by Twitter user, ‘RubyB001’. It was likely to be a private gathering for potential clients where the picture of the car was snapped.

As we know, the Aston Martin DB11 replaces the DB9 and will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. It is the first production Aston Martin that is made under technical partnership with Mercedes-AMG and under the bonnet you can expect the find a brand new 5.2 liter V12 twin-turbo powerplant developed by Aston Martin in house.

Insiders have previously confirmed to GTspirit that the DB11 will use a further evolution of Aston Martin’s own VH aluminium architecture. Electronical components are sourced from AMG, which is a blessing for Aston Martin since its latest models really suffered from the lack of a strong technology partner.

Our sources have also revealed that a lot of effort has been made to warrant two of Aston Martin’s key selling points: the looks and the sound. The use of lightweight materials such as composites should make the vehicle lighter and also emphasize its elegant and sporty looks. The V12 engine will be paired with a specific Aston Martin exhaust setup to gain a typical Aston Martin sound.
