W Hotels has announced plans to open the W Aspen and The Sky Residences at W Aspen in 2017.
The new property will be the brand’s first alpine escape in North America. The W Aspen is expected to open in time for the 2017 ski season and will be developed by a joint venture between Sarpa Development and Northridge Capital.
The new luxury hotel will be located at the foot of Aspen Mountain, an ideal location for those looking for a quick route up to the slopes.

Amenities at the W Aspen will include a full service ski shop, meeting and event spaces and will include the brand’s signature Whatever/Whenever service.
